Now I'm building a startup that's gotten a lot of positive feedback FWIW. About to plunge into seed-strapping fund raising in earnest. Now I'm already feeling fucked.
I'm aware that there are unwritten rules for successful engagement in Silicon Valley. Just unsure of what they are and how to successfully negotiate them. Is there a separate set of rules for New York? Etc., etc.,

Absolutely, every city has its own rules to learn, but there are some universal laws as well.
